Here’s How To Go To Karimunjawa
There are 2 routes that we can take to get to Karimunjawa Island.
1. Via the city of Semarang
To go through this route, we can take a bus from your hometown to Semarang. Take another route to Tanjung Mas Harbor. From Tanjung Mas Harbor, all we have to do is cross to Karimunjawa using the KMC Kartini 1 fast boat.
2. Via the city of Jepara
We can take a bus from Semarang to Jepara, after arriving at the Jepara terminal we can take a rickshaw to Kartini Harbor. At the port of Jepara, there are 2 ships that we can choose to cross to Karimunjawa Island, namely the Express Bahari fast boat and the KMP Siginjai ferry.

Maritime Express Ship
The ticket price for express maritime fast boats in 2016 is IDR 150,000 for executive class and IDR 175,000 for VIP. With this ship, it takes 2 hours to travel to Karimunjawa Island with a schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Siginjai Ferry Boat
If we want to get another experience, we can join the KMP siginjai ferry. For those who like seasickness if you go on a boat, please don’t join this ship, because it takes 5 hours to cross. The ticket price for the KMP Siginjai ship in 2016 is IDR 60,000 for economy class, and IDR 110,000 for VIP class. Schedule to Karimunjawa every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
Oh yes travelers, the ship’s departure schedule above can change according to the situation and conditions in the waters of Jepara and Karimunjawa. The ship at any time may delay departure or even not depart at all, if the weather does not allow for crossing.
