Vespa is now an antique and classic, and has its own prestige for those who own it. This makes his fans mushroom in various cities spread across Indonesia. The Vespagraphy community visited KarimunJawa yesterday as a leisure and educational destination which is a program of this community.
In this event, the community departed from Jakarta at the end of May 2015. They used 8 Vespas that were launched to Karimun Jawa. “Jakarta (ANTARA News) – The Vespagraphy community consisting of Vespa fans who love photography and videography held a non-profit educational activity entitled “Vacancy Exploration Class” at SDN 02 Karimunjawa, Jepara, Central Java, Monday (1/6).
“We use the concept of pleasure and sharing to provide education to students in different ways and to motivate people around tourist areas to care more about education,” said Dadang Kusuma, Head of the Vespagraphy Community in a press release, Friday.
In addition to teaching photography and videography to local residents, this community also provides an overview of the professions that students can engage in in the future.
The Vespagraphy team also distributed reading books to local students and hoped that more professionals would be willing to provide access to education for children in remote parts of Indonesia.
“We want to embrace more professionals to get involved in completing one of the promises of independence through education in a creative way,” concluded Yudi P Pratomo, Vespagraphy Community Advisor.
This non-profit educational activity involves professionals such as photo and video journalists, academics, technicians and several other professions to inspire students’ enthusiasm for learning through creative education.
The Vespagraphy team departed from Jakarta to Karimun Jawa on Friday (29/5) at 02.00 WIB using eight Vespas, traveling more than 500 kilometers in about 24 hours.”
