Power supply containers are currently being pursued by Panasonic by providing assistance to the Karimunjawa regional government. It is hoped that this can be a way out of electricity problems during this time. As written by Bisnis dot Com below, here’s more details.
“Panasonic Corporation provides training on Hybrid cars to students at SDN 01 Karimunjawa, Central Java.
This early training aims to introduce a future technology that is used as a solution to reduce fuel consumption and has low exhaust emissions and is environmentally friendly,” said Susumu Ida, Project Leader.
In addition, in the future students are also expected to have a better understanding of the use of natural resources as energy sources.
The training was part of the visit of the Panasonic Group to evaluate the installation of the Panasonic Power Supply Container as well as the provision of education on renewable energy through the Solar Carcraft Workshop.
The visit was intended to conduct a review of the installation and implementation of the Power Supply Container, but also to strengthen public understanding of the latest technology in the use and storage of electric power.
According to a release received on Monday (30/6/2015), prior to the installation of the Power Supply Container, Karimunjawa was one of the areas with limited electricity which was only available at night with the help of a diesel generator.
The generator will be turned off during the day, making it difficult for the community to carry out daily activities, including teaching and learning activities. Now, the presence of Power Supply Container gives new hope to the people in Karimunjawa. Through a Power Supply Container with independent solar (photovoltaic) electrical equipment equipped with solar panels and storage batteries.
Panasonic has also provided several electricity-saving electronic devices to meet the quality of education at the school, such as lighting equipment, fans as well as computers and televisions to support audiovisual educational materials.
We want to continue to support the development of the ease of using electricity in daily needs equally for all Indonesian people. Panasonic will always strive to provide solutions to the problems faced by society with various innovations and technologies that are friendly to the environment.
“We hope that these solutions will not only provide opportunities for the community to experience a better life, but also help economic development in the local area,” Susumu concluded.
