There is good news for the people of Karimun Jawa, namely that it is very likely that electricity on the island of Karimunjawa will be on 24 hours a day. As is known, electricity in Karimun Jawa is only on for 12 hours, from 18.00 – 06.00 WIB.
According to online news from Metro News (original link CLICK HERE ) stated that soon the electricity problem on the island of Karimun Jawa, Jepara, Central Java, would soon be resolved.
Here is the full news:
After officially building a Gas Engine Power Plant with Compress Nature Gas (PLTMG – CNG) fuel on Bawean Island, PT PLN (Persero) also immediately started using PLTMG on Karimun Jawa Island.
Head of PLN’s Gas and Fuel Division, Suryadi Mardjoeki, said that in the near future the CNG PLTMG in Karimun Jawa Island will use Compress Nature Gas (CNG) fuel.
“After Karimun Jawa, Riau Islands will also use CNG PLTMG. PLN Batam has received an assignment from PLN to carry out the gasification program for islands in the Riau archipelago,” said Suryadi in a written statement in Jakarta, Sunday (17/8/2014).
Later, continued Suryadi, PLTMG in the Riau Archipelago will be supplied with gas using CNG or mini Liquide Nature Gas (LNG).
“Our current target is to reduce the use of fuel on the islands so that the fuel mix target of 1% in 2017-2018 can be met,” said the man who was born in Sidoarjo on June 24, 1959.
Since 2011, this state-owned company has indeed reduced the use of fuel oil (BBM) as fuel through CNG Plant technology.
The CNG plant is PLN’s effort to make gas use efficient by compressing or compressing gas when the need for generation is low.
For information, in 2013 the use of BBM decreased to 12% after previously in 2012 which was 15%. Meanwhile, in 2011 the use of fuel was still at 24.5%.
Hopefully it can be realized quickly, Amen.
